A design challenge: an AI claim assistant that guides you through photos, checks your coverage, and shows your payout, so a stressful moment gets a little easier.

A fintech company invited me to a design challenge: create an AI-powered finance experience for mobile.

Pick one real money problem, and design a focused AI solution for it. Not a chatbot, not a full app. I chose home insurance claims, where people are stressed, confused about their coverage, and stuck waiting weeks for a response.

I mapped the claim journey from "something broke" to "claim sent" and decided where AI should step in: reading the policy, guiding the photos, and estimating the payout. The user stays in control at every step, and can correct the result or call a specialist.

I designed 5 mobile screens around one idea: in a crisis, people shouldn't have to type. A guided camera replaces the chat, and the payout is the first thing you see after the scan.

A claim flow designed to take about 3 minutes instead of weeks, with clear coverage, a transparent payout, and a live status tracker. The AI does the heavy lifting, and the user makes the final call.
